My small narrow-neck vases came from a desire to shape something fragile and something humanly familiar in its organic form. In the end, each vase holds a kind of stillness, a loneliness that I didn't expect to create. They sit alone, holding space for something lost, or waiting for someone who is no longer there, and will never return.
Measuring about 9cm x 10cm, each vase is wheel thrown in different stonewares with different glaze patterns.
