Staircase Incense Cone Burner

The Staircase Incense Cone Burner is handcrafted in stoneware and fired into earthy, golden tones. Its rough textures give the monolith a natural, grounded feeling. At it's base, a small staircase leads to a hidden chamber where the incense cone rests. When lit, the sculpture quietly calms a room as soft trails of smoke drift in slow, silent ribbons from the narrow slit at the top. The movement is gently hypnotic, always shifting and dancing differently depending on the incense cone, the air and the size of the room.

The sense of mystery as smoke transforms through the unseen space into beautiful patterns turns the sculpture into an interactive experience. The ritual of use then becomes part of its meaning.
